Terms of Service

Effective May 12, 2026

1. What BBQ United is

BBQ United is an online community platform for the global barbecue industry, operated by BBQ Champions League LLC, a Delaware limited liability company with its principal place of business in Henderson, Nevada. We provide profile pages and community tools for BBQ fans, competition teams, businesses, judges, creators, and event promoters, and we serve as the home of the BBQ World Cup. By creating an account or submitting a profile, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Acceptable use

You agree to use BBQ United in good faith and to provide accurate information about yourself, your team, your business, or your event. You may not:

  • create fake profiles, impersonate another person or organization, or misrepresent your affiliation;
  • submit content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, defamatory, sexually explicit, or that infringes anyone's rights;
  • spam other users, scrape the site, run automated submissions, or upload malware;
  • use the platform to advertise unrelated commercial offers without our prior written permission.

You retain ownership of the content you submit, but you grant BBQ United a non-exclusive license to display it on the public parts of the site you choose to publish to (for example, your team or creator profile page).

3. Account termination

You may delete your account at any time by emailing info@bbqworldcup.com. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, submit fraudulent information, or harm other users. Where possible, we'll notify you in writing before terminating, except in cases involving safety, fraud, or legal compliance.

4. Limitation of liability

BBQ United is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, BBQ Champions League LLC, its affiliates, and its team members are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the platform, including loss of data, profile content, sponsorship opportunities, or business. Our total liability under these terms will not exceed the amount you paid to BBQ United in the twelve months preceding the claim, or one hundred US dollars (US $100), whichever is greater.

5. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. You and BBQ Champions League LLC agree that any dispute arising out of or related to these terms or the platform will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Clark County, Nevada, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

7. Modifications

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll post the new terms on this page and update the effective date above. If you have an active account, we'll also notify you by email or by posting a notice on the site. Continued use of BBQ United after the changes take effect means you accept the updated terms. If you don't agree, you can delete your account by emailing the address in Section 6.
